The World governments are always supporting the UN as the correct thing to do for their country. Secondly, location. The UN headquarters is located in New York because it is in one of the most populated places in the world.
Facts to show how the UN is helping:
UN evacuate 58% of children in the whole world.
UN provide food for 90 million people in over 75 countries.
They fight poverty by helping over 370 million rural poor individual achieve a better living circumstances.
This shows how much our government and the UN combined will provide not just for us but for the less fortunate and provide a better life style.

As you all may know, the police force are either hated or loved on, the public’s opinion is mixed, around 32.7% of people in UK disagree with having international police. But why? It is because people believe that war is not the answer. There for 68.3% believe in the international police because the risk of a serious emergencies.

More than 95% of United Nations Peacekeepers work in missions that are carried out just for the protection of civilians and over 600 human rights staff have been deployed in 8 peacekeeping operations to support the promotion and protection of human rights.
There are 16 missions across 4 continents. The largest mission is in Darfur (Western Sudan) with 25,289 personnel and is in partnership with the African Union (AU).
